Properly written summaries are included in the writing lessons. Quite simply, writing is not what it used to be. Putting pen(cil) to paper can be extremely difficult if previous experience has been limited to iPads, Chrome Books and personal computers. For a myriad of reasons, setting thoughts down onto paper for yourself, an assignment, or even note-taking can pose quite a challenge. This is more common than you think. We can help you bridge the gap between where key skills are behind, and get them up to where required. ~WHY THIS SITE WAS SET UP~ Too many students cannot write intelligibly because the alphabet and number characters are written all over and between the lines, backwards (***This does not apply to Dyslexia. See below), inconsistent images and, well, 'doodles'. Doodles are not alpha-numerical characters and are inconsistent in formation, pattern, shape, placement, and location. 90% of our students have seen 'cursive' writing elsewhere, and some aren't even sure whether they have, or not. There are some teachers today insisting that cursive and correct alpha-numeric writing is a thing of the past. The heart falls every time we hear this, because writing is an enriching, deeply emotional and thought provoking means to expressing one's beliefs, and is how we leave a gorgeous legacy of dreams and history. Writing was never designed to be exclusively electronic, and will never sustain itself far into the future because it is based on, yes, electronics. What would happen if we did not have electrics for a few months? (I won't be scratching my head; I'll be writing!) Please, do not take reading and writing skills for granted; writing is essential for the organization of ideas, how to be understood and believed in communications of all industries, and learning the correct writing process creates a pragmatic, independently-minded thinker and stronger listener.
